Family Holiday Central- Our Story:

We were inspired to create the website FamilyHolidayCentral because we have a genuine love to travel together as a family. We are always on the hunt to find places to go to that the whole family can enjoy. Our favorite trips tend to be adventures in the 50 states with our immediate family and our sibling’s families. We try to take a family trip every year!

I grew up seeing much of California and Mexico from the backseat of my Mom’s brown station wagon. My Mom was fearless when it came to travel and had no problem loading her kids into the “wagon” for a road trip adventure. She had no reservations about driving from Los Angeles to Mexico with her brood and stopping at all the nearby places of interest.

My father was also a big traveler. He loved to get into his 280 ZX and travel the US. One of his biggest wishes was to travel cross country and drive down 5th Ave in NYC in his “Z.” He fulfilled this wish before he passed away in 2000.

I know now that those long car trips were important to my parents because it was a way of giving us experience and an ability to see places beyond where we lived while also keeping us together and creating lifelong memories.

Creating memories with our kids is one of our goals, and documenting our travels on FamilyHolidayCentral.com will hopefully inspire other families to get out there and do the same.

We hope travel brings you together and keeps you close no matter where you end up going!
