About The International Carbon Markets Institute:

The International Carbon Markets Institute is a Washington, D.C.-based think tank formed out of the Embassy Row Project’s NETZERO Incubator & Accelerator and ENVIROTECH Pre-Accelerator.

We provide a conduit for collaboration between international environmental commodities platforms, carbon offset projects, and public-private sector stakeholders in the commercial and trade space. ICMI provides outreach programs, networking events, project support, and trade missions throughout Europe, Southeast Asia, Latin America, and the United States.

Our initiatives support the development of carbon markets through intergovernmental, nongovernmental, commercial, trade association, academic, and legislative collaborations without partisan leanings or bias. Through the support of an international network of government stakeholders, the institute provides strategic and direct carbon reduction-focused educational outreach to a diversified base.

The goal of the International Carbon Markets Institute is to utilize offsets as an introductory gateway for commercial sector organizations to launch multivector environmental sustainability programs with social impact while accelerating their path to net zero. We work with other Embassy Row Project-supported NGOs in the carbon reduction and clean energy technology space.

The International Carbon Markets Institute actively supports the EMANCIP8 Project, an Embassy Row Project initiative that offers environmental, sustainability-focused education and career access to women from disenfranchised communities in developing nations.

International Carbon Markets Institute Incubator:

Each month we promote our Free Rapid Launch ICMI-NETZERO Incubator to 1000s of c-suite executives who have a keen interest in reducing their organization’s carbon footprint and becoming a more environmentally sustainable company. This unique accelerated learning program offers video training, podcasts, reports, step-by-step rapid launch manuals, and other free material for companies of any size to utilize to introduce meaningful sustainability programs at their organization.

The ICMI-NETZERO Incubator and Rapid-Launch Startup Weekend have been designed to maximize outreach, optimize commercial engagement, and expedite the path to net zero and sustainability best practices. The pace of concept introduction and solutions application is methodically throttled to ease into the existing architecture of each commercial organization so that long-lasting impact can be realized. The goal of all ICMI’s commercial sector educational programs is to build net zero and environmental sustainability best practices into the DNA of each organization’s existing architecture so that a new pattern of social and environmental responsibility can be introduced and entwined within each organization’s corporate culture.

The NETZERO Incubator & Accelerator is a Washington, D.C.-based think tank that provides an optimized conduit for international public and private sector stakeholders to collaborate on accelerated net zero and sustainability-focused strategies. Our commercial sector focus is rooted in environmental commodities and carbon markets education, sustainability best practices, social impact strategies, and public and private sector sustainability-focused communications. The path to net zero requires a synergistic, multi-vector, and layered approach that harnesses the efficiencies of multiple sustainability and carbon reduction disciplines.

NETZERO is hyper-focused on evangelizing the tools, tactics, and best practices that introduce individuals and corporations to sustainability through carbon reduction. ENVIROTECH Pre-Accelerator programs are rooted in almost two decades of international contact cultivation among public and private sector stakeholders, intergovernmental organizations and trade bloc leadership, and commercial sector networks. Our small collective of advisors works with international government and commercial stakeholders on creating quiet programs that out-think, outmaneuver, and out-strategize competitive interests in hyper-competitive spaces. We now offer this solution to select startups, accelerators, and incubators with an interest in a synergistically aligned, multi-vector, and multinational approach to high-impact and explosive growth.
