MEET JONATHAN:

Hi there! My name is Jonathan and I am the founder of The Thrifty Gentleman. Let me tell you a little bit about our story.

I have always held a fascination with watches and up until the pandemic, that interest had been in the collection of affordable watches.

The pandemic then changed a lot of things for most of us though and especially with the restrictions imposed during lockdown I decided I needed to find a new hobby!

By no means an expert in social media I started an Instagram page and it took off. People seemed to really love my watch pictures!

What I then realised was that there were a lot of people showing interest not only in my watches but in my watch accessories as well.

Combined with my belief that everyone should have the opportunity to personalise their watch, as they already do their other fashion items, this led me to found The Thrifty Gentleman in 2021.
