Remove all hardware lock hinges and strip down to raw wood
Repair damaged areas
Sand completely with 3 separate grits of sandpaper and metal brush
Wash the door with solvent
Stain with highly pigmented slow to fade “Gemini” stain
Apply 5 coats of UV protected MARINE and one coat VARNISH
Reinstall all hardware locks and hinges with new vinyl door bottom
Install the door and adjust the door and locks
